The Parry Sound Islanders won back-to-back games over the Bobcaygeon Storm and Haliburton Wolves this past weekend. Both games were played on home ice.

First was a 6-2 victory over Bobcaygeon Friday evening. This match was lead by Filip Brezka with three points, who was named first star of the game. Scoring in the match included: Grunkemeyer, Petersson, Vojtas, Jansson, Bachraty and Krotz.

The very next day, the Islanders were back at it hosting the Haliburton Wolves. Although Parry Sound showed signs of fatigue, they still pulled off a close 5-4 victory. Cody Dray was a difference maker in net making 36 saves. Karlsson, Mikulcak, Pejsa and Bachraty all had two points in the game.

Parry Sound will look to improve upon a record of 2-2-1 on Thursday October 1st when the Islanders play the Seguin Huskies. Puck drop is 3:15pm at Humphrey Arena.
