ISLANDERS CRUSHING COMPITITION

Oct 18, 2016

The Parry Sound Islanders are near perfect this season with an outstanding 11-1-1 record through the first quarter of the season.

The most recent victorious were big wins over the powerhouse Bradford Rattlers.

Parry Sound is perhaps the team to beat in the GMHL's North Division. The Rattlers were expected to be the bench mark for Parry Sound and with the two dominant victories, they have cemented their place atop the standings.

The finnish duo of Makiviinikka and Linna  are a huge reason for this year's success. Both players are near the top of GMHL scoring with 35 points each.

The schedule eases up for the Islanders as they face off against Wiarton twice and Meaford once in their next 3 games. Both clubs are near the bottom of the standings.

Next home game is Saturday, October 22nd at Bobby Orr Community Centre with a 7:30pm puck drop.
