Trozzo & Gleason Resign with Eagles

May 30, 2013

The Powassan Eagles junior "A" hockey club is proud to announce that forward Anthony Trozzo and Defenseman Patrick Gleason will be returning to the club for the 2013-2014 campaign.

“Anthony is a huge signing for our club, he is a proven leader on the ice and in the locker room” stated assistant coach Kevin Totten. He went on to say "We want to provide local players a place to develop their junior hockey careers, we are happy to keep Anthony in Powassan.”

The team is also happy to have Gleason return on the blue line. "We are going to rely on Pat a lot this year to be the anchor on our blue line. He is a proven leader and solid defenseman that will help our club compete for a championship. We are really happy to have him back." said team president Andy Palfrey.

The Powassan Eagles will be announcing more signings within the next week. All players interested in the Eagles are encouraged to attend the team’s open tryout camp July 13-14 in South River, Ontario.
