The Parry Sound Islanders are boasting the longest winning streak in the GMHL. At 16 wins in a row, the entire league is quickly noticing the Parry Sound boys as a true powerhouse from the north.

The latest victory was 5-4 OT final against their arch rival -- the Seguin Huskies.

Andrej Vojtas lead the team with a strong 4 point evening including 2 goals and 2 assists including the overtime winner. Karlsson was his right hand man on the evening with 3 assists.

Lalonde and Peska both split duties between the pipes.

The Islanders club will try and make the streak 17 and extend their franchise record with a huge match against the first place South Muskoka Shield. This will be a huge test for the Islanders and prove themselves to be a top team in the North.
