WIN STREAK ENDED AT SEVEN

Oct 27, 2015

The Parry Sound Islanders have had their win streak stopped at seven games after a very close 4-3 game against the Bracebridge Blues. Despite the loss, Parry Sound remains in contention for the North Division lead.

It was a back and forth game against Bracebridge which could have landed either way. The Islanders found themselves on the losing end of things this time, but still put forth a strong team effort.

Jeromir Peska held down the pipes in goal while up front Vojtas, Barnes and Jansson all pocketed goals.

The club will look back to get in the win column with two huge games this weekend. First up is a road trip to Almaguin to play the Spartans on Friday. Afterwhich, the club returns home Sunday to host the expansion Coldwater Falcons. Puck drop is 7:00pm at Humphrey Arena.
