Sestak Signs Pro in Czech Republic

January 26, 2013

The Powassan Eagles would like to congratulate alumnus Milan Sestak on signing with a Czech Republic based professional hockey club for the remainder of the season.  Milan signed with HC Haclick Drod 1 in the Czech Republic's second league.

Sestak played a key role on the Eagles front line last season. The forward had 12 goals and 21 assists in 43 games for Powassan. He stands 6'0" and weighs 187lbs.

Milan is just 19 years of age this season, making his jump to professional hockey particularly impressive.

Sestak will be facing off against several players who have had successful NHL careers and NHL prospects for this years draft. For example, former Assistant Captain of the Columbus Blue Jackets (NHL) David Vyborny is the league's leading scorer.

Congratulations Milan from the entire organization!
