FOUR GAME WIN STREAK

Nov 30, 2015

The Parry Sound Islanders are one of the hottest teams in the entire GMHL. The club has won four games in a row, including a dominant victory over the Almaguin Spartans 6-0 final this past weekend.

With the latest hot streak, the team now has an impressive 13-6-1 record sitting in the top five of the GMHL's North Division.

It was a solid team effort against Almaguin, who sits ahead of Parry Sound in the standings. It was a statement game for Holden Melgoza who had a shutout between the pipes. Holden had 20 saves in the match.

After a scoreless first period, Parry Sound came out hot in the second scoring four and would not look back enroute to the victory.

Scoring in the match will be: Bachraty, Scaringi, Presheva, Mikulcak and Pejsa.

Next up the team will play the Seguin Huskies, who are just one spot above them in the stands. The game takes place December 1st at Humphrey Arena. Puck drop 3:00pm.
