The Parry Sound Islanders had a five game win streak snapped  at the hands of the South Muskoka Shield. The Islanders suffered a 6-3 loss on the road in South Muskoka.

Filip Grancarov played well between the pipes making 35 saves and giving Parry Sound a chance to win.

Ervin Halasz had three points on the three goals, including a goal and was the Islanders best player on the evening.

Linna and Mikulcak each found the back of the net also in the loss.

The Islanders look to get in the right side of the standings on Saturday, the 28th with a tough game against the New Tec Civics. Puck drop is 7:30pm on home ice.
