The Parry Sound Islanders pulled through with a clutch, character building overtime victory over the South Musoka Shield. The third place Shield are right behind the second place Islanders in the GMHL's North Division standings.

It was a even game in every way. Even shots, even goals after 60 and the game could have went either way.

It was Gian-Marcho Schumacher who played OT hero scoring the winner. Sending the stands wild and building momentum for the boys heading into the final game of the season.

Vyroal and Makivinnikka had the regulation time goals.

The last game of the regular season is against the pesky Bradford Bulls. The Bulls have been a thorn in the side of most teams this season and will be a good momentum builder looking forward to playoffs.
