Two Islanders Named AllStars

A pair of Czech Republic native Parry Sound Islanders have been invited to compete in the GMHL 2016 All-Star Game. Star forwards Enver Presheva and Jakub Pejsa have both been named to the Tottenham, Ontario based match.

Enver, 21, is having a dominant season leading the team in scoring. Presheva has scored a very impressive 68 points in only 26 games. Enver has already beat his career high in points which was 61 points in the last with Parry Sound.

Pejsa is in his fourth season with the Islanders organization, dating back to the days in Powasson. Jakub is just 19 years of age and having a successful season himself with 41 points in 27 games.

The GMHL All-Star game sports a Team Canada vs Team World format. As mentioned, the two Islanders will be representing the World team. Congratulations Boys!
