The Parry Sound Islanders are proving they are the team to beat coming out of the North Division. The club has not lost since November 21st and now ride a 10 game win streak.

The latest this weekend was a 11-2 pounding over the Coldwater Falcons.

It has been the Islanders depth through all four lines which is contributing to the recent success. Lead by Josh Vaughan, offensively seven different Islanders found the back of the net.

Josh Vaughan had five points and was named first star of the game. Veteran Enver Presheva had four points of his own in the match while Taylor Rooney found a hat trick in the match. Pejsa with two and Vesel, Mikulcak and Bachraty with singles rounded out the scoring.

The Islanders have three more home games before heading off to Christmas break. The next game is Thursday against the Seguin Huskies at home at 3:00pm.  Followed by Saturday vs Coldwater and Sunday hosting Almaguin.
